MTR ELIZABETH LINE

MTR will operate the new Elizabeth Line which joins the commuter areas to the east and west of London with London Docklands and City, the West End and Heathrow airport. The line will allow an anticipated 200 million passenger journeys per annum to access these areas through a network of forty new stations.

Contract Awarded
 
Wave Business Applications is very pleased to announce that it has been awarded the contract to provide its Facilities & Asset Management Software to support MTR’s operation of the London Elizabeth Line. The market leading software system will provide ‘real time’ facilities & asset management data to MTR. The data stream will be seamless, and uniquely links the operational station infrastructure with MTR technicians and their supply chain.

 
The task 
 

Wave's software will be MTR’s ‘Single Source of Truth’ as it holds and manages data collection before providing this operational information in a practical format to whomever is designated for action. Wave, through innovative use of software, has automated much of the data flow, ensuring there is no information and action lag across the whole supply chain.

 

Wave will be responsible for;

 

  • All document management, holding and maintaining initial asset records, tracking asset and facilities management performance, and providing definitive asset information to improve facilities management and drive asset maintenance, repairs and replacement cycles.

 

  • Ensuring compliance deadlines are notified in good time for renewal and that the facilities management and maintenance teams attending are appropriately qualified.

 

  • Providing 24 hour access to a technical library of all installation and maintenance documentation in support of warranties, planned maintenance and repairs.

 

  • Providing  accurate data and performance rich information to the MTR team  and supply chain that generates a comprehensive event history of the asset lifecycle.
